William H. “Bill” Ulm, age 86, passed away October 21, 2020. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Carol Ulm, his four boys, William F., John (Cheryl), Ed (Vicki), and Michael (Teri), nine grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Bill was one of seven children, and is survived by his sister Irene Jervis.
Bill was a devoted husband and father; as a respected family member he was asked to be a Godfather nine times. He was a skilled mason/bricklayer/craftsmen, and generously offered his talents and skills to his family, friends, neighbors, and beyond. His work can be seen throughout the New York College (SUNY) campuses and locally with his final work in the buildings and stone work at Walsingham Park, Seminole, Florida.
His energy and work ethic were legendary and his involvement and love of sports played out in his favorite hobbies and volunteerism in youth sports. He particularly loved the Tampa Bay Rays and partcipating in the family football pool. He coached baseball and basketball and was a basketball referee for years.
His quiet strength, strong faith, and loyalty to those he loved was a compass and an anchor for his family. He will be missed terribly and celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 10 am, November 7th.
