Born November 29, 1949 in North Platte, Nebraska, he was the son of the late Alice and Herbert Fisher.
Allan proudly served in the United States Navy for 22 years and retired as an Instructor at the Surface Warfare Officers School Pacific with the rank of Senior Chief Petty Officer. He then worked for Mitchell International for 20 years, retiring in 2013. In his spare time, he enjoyed reading, journaling, cooking, spending time with his children and grandchildren and most importantly, spoiling his faithful canine companion, Toby.
Allan is survived by his daughter, Heidi Martin of Las Vegas, NV; his son Allan Fisher II and his wife Alma Lucy Fisher of San Diego, CA; 6 grandchildren, Isaiah, Alexandra, Harlow and Byron of Las Vegas, NV and Aidan and Alina of San Diego, CA. He is also survived by his siblings, Lydia Rudolph and Christopher Fisher.
A private memorial service will be held on Friday, January 19, 2018 at Miramar National Cemetery in San Diego, CA for family members and close friends.
