Anne moved to America when she was 18 months old with her mother, Domenica of Biano and her father, Peter of Ohio and grew up in Clifton, New Jersey. She graduated from Clifton High School and worked in a factory during WWII to support the war effort. Anne met her husband, Michael and they were married on June 19, 1948, and continued to live in Clifton. In 1957, she gave birth to their daughter, Lynne. They were active members of St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, and Anne was a member of the Rosary Society, bowling team and a Girl Scout leader.
Anne loved to go to New York City to see Broadway shows, her favorites being the Sound of Music, Fiddler on the Roof and Wicked. Anne loved gardening, home decorating, and cooking; and her favorite time of day was early morning in her flower garden. On summer weekends, Anne and Mike could be found at their second home on the Delaware River where she learned to kayak, fish and vegetable garden. She very much enjoyed when her family and friends would spend the day filled with good food, games, and lots of laughs.
In 1997, Anne & Mike moved to Henderson, Nevada to be near their daughter Lynne, her husband, Bill and grandchildren, Megan & Christopher. They had wonderful years in Henderson making many friends and volunteering at their church, St Thomas More Catholic Community. They shared fun times with friends in the bingo room and the casino at Green Valley Ranch, taking trips to Sedona, AZ, Palm Springs & San Diego, CA. She enjoyed ocean cruises, and her favorite was the cruise to Alaska. But Anne’s joy was her family especially her 3 great grandchildren who were the light in her life.
Anne and Mike were married 69 years until his death in 2017. She was also preceded in death by her mother, Domenica; her father, Peter; her sisters Theresa (Tess) and Diana (Di). She is survived by her brother, Peter and sister, Geraldine (Geri), daughter, Lynne, son in law, Bill; grandchildren Megan Sherlock Morse (and husband, Ben) Christopher Sherlock (and wife, Ashley) as well as her great grandchildren Hazel, Grayson, and Olivia.
