Annette Friedman, 93, was born December 28, 1919 in Chicago, Illinois, passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2013 in Las Vegas. Annette and her family moved to Las Vegas in 1957. Annette was fiercely proud of her children and grandchildren, most of whom are musicians and performers. She loved her extended family of sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and all of her longtime Las Vegas friends. She loved life and lived it up to the end when she was heard saying with a smile, “The doctor said I can have three glasses of wine a week.” Annette worked for Reynolds Electrical and Engineering for 23 years prior to her retirement. She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Friedman; sister, Mickey Meyers; and brother, Jerry Crain. She is survived by her three children, Jerenne Susan Friedman of Seattle, Richard Barry Friedman (MaLis) of Las Vegas, and Glori Wynn Rosenberger (James) of Las Vegas; two grandchildren, Evan Martin Dodd (Sidara) of Long Beach, California and Molly Elyse Rosenberger, currently of Chicago, Illinois; and her three sisters-in-law, Shelly Radin (Bernie), Sally Friedman, and Florence Ross, all of Chicago, Illinois. To say, “A life loved is a life well-lived” is an understatement for “Grandma Annette”. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made to Congregation Ner Tamid of Henderson, NV. Funeral Services will be held at King David Memorial Chapel on Sunday, Sept. 29, 2013 at 9:00am. Burial will follow at Palm Valley View Cemetery. Arrangements were made by King David Memorial Chapel.
