Annette Joan Spiecha

Annette Joan Spiecha passed away peacefully in her sleep in Henderson, Nevada at 85 years of age. She was born on July 9, 1939, in North Braddock, Pennsylvania, to Mary (Medvec) and Steven Kopelic. She was the second of four children and grew up with her siblings Don (Peg), Peggy (Ed), and Steve (Gerri).

Annette married the love of her life, John J. Spiecha, on September 8, 1962. They shared over 51 happy years together before John's passing in 2013.

Annette is survived by her children: (John) Mark Bunger-Spiecha (Janell), Beth Armstrong (Chris), and Michael Spiecha (Kim). She was also a proud grandmother to Mark Spiecha, and Lucas, Noah, and Adam Bunger-Spiecha.

Annette earned her bachelor's degree in Sociology from Washington and Jefferson University in Washington, PA, in 1980; completing her studies while also managing the responsibilities of being a mom of 3 teenagers.

Annette will be remembered for her kindness, thankfulness, and sense of humor. She loved to laugh and bring joy to those around her. She enjoyed flowers, art, and figure skating, and she was a talented artist herself. She also had a large collection of dolls that brought her great joy. Most of all, she cherished her family and the love she shared with her husband, John.

A funeral service for Annette will be held Thursday, June 12, 2025 at 9:00 AM at Palm Mortuary - Eastern, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123. Following the funeral service will be a committal at 10:00 AM at Palm Eastern Cemetery, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123.

Arrangements are being handled by Palm Eastern Mortuary in Las Vegas, Nevada.
