Austin Gene Burris

Austin Gene Burris, age 25, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2022. Austin was born February 19, 1996 in Hobbs, NM to his parents, Robert Burris and Jacqueline Spangler. Austin lived in Hobbs until 10 years old and then moved to Las Vegas. Austin loved computers, he was known to take 3 computers and make one great one. He designed websites and video games. He was very loving and caring and would give the shirt off of his back to someone in need. At 8 years old he accepted Christ as his Savior and his religion was very important to him. He loved to spend time with his family and his best friend was Taylor and they could often be found together.

Austin was preceded in death by his biological father, Robert Burris, grandparents Ronnie Bright, Jeannie Bright, Karen and Bucky Burris.

Austin is survived by his mother Jacqueline Spangler and stepdad Donald Bright Sr of Las Vegas, NV, sister Kristina Bright of Texas, brother Donald Bright Jr of Las Vegas, NV, grandparents Gene and Ruth Spangler of Las Vegas, NV, grandmother Linda Bright of Texas and grandmother Marsha Burris of Missouri, his cousin Taylor Endsley, his aunt Kristi Endsley and uncle Danny Endsley all of Las Vegas, NV as well as several other aunts, uncles and cousins.
