Bernard "Bernie" Benjamin Spindel

Bernie was born on October 27, 1926 in Brooklyn, NY to Ernest and Ida Spindel (nee Ackerman) and was a Southern Nevada resident since 1991. Bernie was a U.S. Army veteran and served in WW II. He was a member of Congregation Ner Tamid and a life member of the Jewish War Veterans. He is preceded in death by his parents and Seena, his beloved wife of 63 years. He is survived by his daughter, Rhonda Carrick (William); son, Steven (Kathi); two brothers, Murray (Jean) and Herbert (Adrienne) three grandchildren, Shayna, Elissa, and Sheree; and two great-grandchildren, Shawn and Shane. Funeral and burial services will be held at 9:00am on Friday, May 4, 2018 at King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 E. Eldorado Lane, Las Vegas. Family requests that memorial donations be sent to Nathan Adelson Hospice. King David Memorial Chapel handled the arrangements.
