

Bernardino was born on May 20,1946 in Lubao, Pampanga to Francisca Santos and Fernando Santos. He was the eldest of six children, Maria Wilhelmina, Evelyn, Fernando Jr., Rogel, & Joseph. He graduated high school from St. Michael's College in Guagua, Pampanga and received his bachelor's degree in Nautical Engineering from the Feati University in Santa Cruz, Manila.
He started off his career working in the warehouse of the US Naval Air Station Cubi Point at the edge of the Naval Base in Subic Bay. This is where he met the love of his life, Norma Nobles. Ever since the year 1978, the two of them have been inseparable. At the time of his death, they were four days shy of celebrating their 47th year anniversary.
In March of 1990, Bernardino decided to enter construction painting in Guam. After 10 years, in June of 2000, Bernardino and his family decided to try life in the United States and went back to working as a warehouse man at the San Diego Navy Exchange. Year 2003 is when the family moved to Las Vegas and has been residents ever since. His last occupation before retiring in 2015 was being a tourist driver for Papillon Airways, Inc.
Bernardino will be remembered for how loving he is to everyone but most especially, his family. He was always known to be the "cool" dad to his daughter's friends. Everyone always said that he can befriend anybody and everybody.
Bernardino is survived by his wife, Norma; their four girls: Bernadine, Aprilleen, Charmine, & Dawnna; his other children: Fatima, Ferdinand, Judy, Bernardino, & William; and numerous grandchildren.
The Santos family is full of gratitude and incredibly grateful for all the love, prayers, and support that they have received in various forms.
Family, friends, & others whose lives have been touched by Bernardino are invited to a memorial in his honor. It will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Palm Eastern Mortuary, 7600 South Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89123.
