Billy Rosales Bautista

Billy Bautista went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 8th, 2017 at the age of 87. He was at home, peaceful surrounded by family. Billy was born on December 18th, 1929 in Bingham, Utah; he moved to Las Vegas in 1931. Billy served four years in the United States Navy from 1947 - 1951, where he learned his love of boxing. He later worked for the LV Water District (13 years), NV Test Site (23 years) and retired from Local 525, Plumbers and Pipefitters in 1991. Billy will be forever remembered by his wife of 50 years, Kathy; daughters Joleen and husband Robert of Memphis; Marcella and husband Paul of Henderson; Ramona and husband Brian of Las Vegas. He loved and cherished each of his eight grandchildren, Brent, Jessica, Aaron, Andrew, Alex, Amanda, Daniel, Michael and one great-grandson Graham. His son Billy (1999) and daughter Yolanda (2016) preceded him in death. Yolanda was married to Walt Lloyd of Las Vegas. As the oldest living brother, he leaves behind sisters Lugar, Lillian, Patricia, Linda, Sylvia, Teresa and brother David. Billy, raised Catholic, was a faithful man of God and a servant for the Lord. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus at Holy Family Catholic Church with whom he loved. Our dear husband, father, grandpa, brother, uncle and friend you will be dearly missed. And God said, "Welcome home my good and Faithful Servant."

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, December 21st, 2017 at 3:00pm at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89123.
