We lost our sweet, dear Bob Holding, "Bunky," of Las Vegas, Nevada on February 22, 2014. He passed away suddenly, fighting a short bout with cancer. He was born July 2, 1956, in Bridgeton, New Jersey.
At the age of 20, Bob made the big move to Las Vegas. He started working for Albertson's and was there for eight years. He then had many of his own businesses. In 1982, he settled into a career doing real estate. He worked for several companies and at the time of his death was working for Realty Executives. He had finished his course work for getting his CCIM designation and was waiting to test. Bob lived in Las Vegas for 37 years and, during that time, had been part of many charitable organizations and was a large part of the growth of Las Vegas. He was passionate about his work and never missed an appointment and loved what he did. He was loved by so many and touched people all around him. In 1985, he met the love of his life Leslie and later married her.
He was preceded in death by his son, Ian Holding, who passed tragically just 21 months ago. A part of Bob died too, and this reunion must have been some moment. He is survived by his wife Leslie; his mother, Marion (Oliver) Carter; father, Robert Holding; daughters, Tara (Scooch) and Tiffany (Terry) Parrish. The light of his life were his grandchildren, Jacob, Chance, Paige, Ty and Stockton, each could do no wrong.
