Bradford E. Scheppmann, husband, father, papa, brother and friend, peacefully left us on April 18, 2018. He was born February 15, 1957 and was a lifelong resident of Las Vegas. Brad graduated from Valley High School in 1976 and received his Bachelors degree from UNLV in 1986. Along with his brothers, Brad joined the family business and became a second generation State Farm agent in 1987. He was a dedicated family man who founded Troop 146 of the Boy Scouts of America and served as Scoutmaster for the Troop. He was happiest when he was making memories with his family, photographing his travels and building something with his many tools. He volunteered at Toys for Smiles using his woodworking skills. Brad was a recent graduate of the Citizens Police Academy and enjoyed volunteering in the Handicap Parking Patrol and at the many citywide functions. He was preceded in death by his mother, Edna Scheppmann. He is survived by his loving wife, Jeanne; father, Eugene; brothers, Mark & Curtis and sister, Kim. In addition, he leaves behind his sons, Ryan (Sara) and Steven (Khara); stepchildren, Laura (Dave) & Michael and Amanda and five grandchildren: Aubrey, Jacob, Liam, Hunter & Gavin. In lieu of flowers, Brad wished donations to be made in his name to the Boy Scouts of America. All donations will be used to memorialize a bench in his name at the new Engelstad Scout Park on Warm Springs and Paradise. Services will be private
