

Bryan Ray Hilliard died peacefully at the age of 52 on Monday, June 28, 2021, at his home surrounded by the love of his family, under hospice care in Las Vegas, Nevada after a long and difficult battle with cancer.
Bryan Ray Hilliard is survived by his wife, Youngsun Hilliard; his twin sister, Michele Moody; and love of his larger family. He is preceded in death by his mom, Diane Hilliard, who passed away suddenly in August 1979.
Bryan Ray Hilliard was born on November 11, 1968 in Baltimore, Maryland. After graduating from Newcomerstown High School in 1986, he attended Hocking Technical College, where he achieved a degree in Timber Harvesting. He joined the U.S. Air Force in 1992 and was stationed at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, Nevada. Bryan and his wife, Youngsun Im, met while attending the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). They were married on June 10, 1995.
In August 2004, they opened a small restaurant called Yogis Teriyaki House. Bryan loved spending time outdoors and traveling. He had the most fun with his friends on his ATV, exploring all over Utah and Nevada.
During their 26 years of marriage, Bryan and Youngsun worked hard and enjoyed learning to retain happiness despite ongoing significant medical challenges. Bryan was most proud and grateful for acquired friendships over the years.
Services will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Palm Southwest Mortuary, 7979 W. Warm Springs Rd., Las Vegas, Nevada 89113. Visitation and Reception Hours: 4:30 - 6:00 pm with Funeral Service at 6:00 pm (Light food and beverages will be served during the Reception starting at 4:30 pm).
Burial Service will be on Thursday, July 15, 2021, at 3:00 pm at Rose Hills Memorial Park,
3888 Workman Mill Rd., Whittier, California 90601. Burial Site is Winter Terrace, Gate 1, Section 7, Lot 6636, Grave Site 3.
