

Andres Corzo Ardila, 35, of Las Vegas passed away on Monday, July 21st, 2014. Andres was born in Bucaramanga, Colombia on December 25th, 1978. Son of Carlos Hernando Corzo and Olga Corzo, he graduated high school in Bogota in 1995 and was working towards a Construction Management degree. He moved to the United States in 1997 and returned to Colombia in April of 1998 to marry his girlfriend of two years, Angelica Montealegre. Andres was a dreamer and in his short life was able to fulfill many of his dreams. At the age of 28, he became a business owner and later joined the Sin City Spartans where he found inspiration, strength and friendship. Andres won his first medal last year and continued to participate in several races and events. Andres loved to travel, read, learn and share his knowledge about politics and many other subjects with those who knew him. He was an avid sports fanatic and this past month he was able to enjoy the World Cup of Soccer where his beloved team Colombia displayed its best futbol in decades. Andres is survived by his two girls Ashley Corzo, age 7 and Allyson Corzo, age 5, and his beloved wife of 15 years Angie. He is also survived by his parents Carlos y Olga Corzo, his siblings, Carol Solorzano, Richard Corzo, Yohana Trimble, Liliana Corzo and Eduardo Flores, his aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces, cousins and his best friend Joe Wittenwiler.
