Carol was united in marriage to A. Daniel Lacey on August 23, 1969, sharing a life full of love, laughter, and cherished memories. Together, they built a family and a home that was always filled with warmth.
For many years, Carol worked as a bingo agent in various casinos across Nevada, a job she truly loved and took great pride in. Her passion for bingo was matched only by her love for good food, lively games of Rook, and celebrating life’s simple joys. Carol had a knack for finding joy in the little things, including playing a fun and often mischievous April Fools' prank. Carol’s playful spirit was contagious, and she could always be counted on for a good laugh.
Carol was a woman who embraced life with an open heart. She treasured time spent with family and friends, always ready to share a story, enjoy a meal, or offer a kind word. Her warm smile and infectious laughter will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her father, Francis; mother, Rita; husband, Daniel; daughter, Holly; and brother, Patrick. Carol is survived by her daughters, Heather Mercurio and Heidi Bombala; six beloved grandchildren, Sarah, Sydney, Joshua, Sophia, Ashtyn, and Kyle; as well as her siblings, Betty, Pricilla, Norman, Pauline, Miles, and Connie.
Carol's family and friends take comfort in knowing her legacy of love, kindness, and joy will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know her.
Rest easy, Carol. Your laughter and joy will live on in the hearts of all who knew you, and we will keep smiling every time we think of you.
