Charlie (Charles) William Brozek Jr. passed away suddenly on April 21, 2022 at the age of 65 years old. He was born to the late Charles and Anna Brozek in Brooklyn, New York. He spent his childhood and young adult years growing up in Canarsie, and was proud to say he was from there.
Charlie was a GOOD man, and put his family first. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years Dorothy Brozek, his two children Michael Brozek and Lana Higuera, and his son in law Michael Higuera, and granddaughter Ava Rose Higuera.
On June 7, 1987, Charlie and Dorothy married and began their new life together in Bensonhurst (Brooklyn), New York. In 1990, the Brozek family moved to Las Vegas to begin a new chapter. Vegas quickly became home and Charlie started a new adventure as a valet parker at the MGM Grand. He started on opening day in 1992 and developed true lifelong friendships across his 30 plus years there. His buddies became family to him.
Charlie and Dorothy created a home that was filled with love, respect, ALOT of food and a warm and welcoming space for family and friends. He found tremendous joy in parenthood. Charlie set the bar in all areas of his life. He always showed up for his loved ones with patience and understanding. Charlie proudly provided for his family and he was always there when you needed someone. Most importantly, he had integrity and was a man of his word.
In 2019, Charlie became Pop Pop to Ava Rose. She brought him a joy that was truly a sight to see and the bond they shared is everlasting.
Charlie is missed so deeply. The world has lost a special man, and his impact will live on forever through us all. His memorial will be held at Palm Eastern Mortuary (7600 S. Eastern Avenue Las Vegas, NV 89123) on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at 2:00 pm.
