

Christian John Denning was born to Christian Frederick and Anna Dorothy Denning in Great Falls, Montana. He attended Great Falls High School, after which he enlisted in the U.S. Army, serving as the youngest Sergeant in the U.S Army at that time, and was honorably discharged after he completed his tour of duty in Germany.
Chris married Christa Sedlacek in Germany where their son, Christian Joseph Denning, was born. Their daughter, Andrea Denise Denning, was born in Billings, Montana. Chris married Rhonda Malek in Billings, Montana where their son, Michael James Denning, was born.
Chris moved to Las Vegas, Nevada working for Sletten Construction from 1967-1994 and Carson Construction from 1994-1998. He was self-employed when he became Deputy Director of Investigations for the Nevada State Contractor’s Board, retiring in 2010. Chris was a Montana and Nevada Real Estate Broker/Salesman from 1978-2014. He was a Member of Associated General Contractors (AGC) for 25 years where he served as a Board member and was a past President. He was a past Chairman of the Department of Industrial Relations for the State of Nevada; a past Board Member of the Nevada Development Authority, and was a past Board Member for the American Red Cross.
Chris is survived by his life partner, June Weedon; son Christian J. Denning (Melanie), and grandchildren Taran (Curyn), Brianna; daughter Andrea Denning (Lloyd); son Michael J. Denning (Charisse), and grandchildren Caden, and Destiny; sisters Shirley Fudge (Bill) and Sharon Howard (Bill), and brothers Thomas (Launa) and Kenneth (Anne).
Chris’ youngest brother, David, preceded him in death as a result of a tragic plane accident participating in a military training exercise in June of 1977.
