Claire was known for her quick wit, her love of telling a good joke, and for sharing her favorite recipes—especially her famous meatballs, which she liked to say tasted best when you told everyone you had “sweated in the kitchen all day.”
After growing up in NYC via the Bronx / Queens NY, she then moved to Miami Florida where she developed her love for cruising. Claire later settled in Henderson, Nevada where she enjoyed playing bingo and spending time at the SouthPoint. She also looked forward to her half-price Monday bagel outings, always appreciating a good bargain.
On the weekends, you could often find her cheering on the NY Mets, the Florida State Seminoles, or the New England Patriots, depending on the season. When online, she enjoyed her time at RJs, playing Pogo, and engaging in trivia with the Inner Circle.
Claire loved finding a deal, traveling on cruises, and in many ways was ahead of her time in her spirit and independence.
She is survived by her daughter, Marla, and is now reunited with her beloved husband, Joseph Furst who she missed dearly
She will be remembered with love by those who knew her.
