Claud Denver McGowan, 80, of Las Vegas, was granted his angel wings Friday, October 7, 2016. Claud was born November 26, 1935 in Boxley, Arkansas to Charles and Josephine McGowan. He was married to Barbara Sue Daniel on December 3, 1953. He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara; Sons, James Neil of Las Vegas and Rodney Lee of Zion, Utah; 4 grandchildren, Denise, Jason, DeAwna and Dana, and 6 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers, Stilman of Arkansas and Billy Wayne of California; sisters, Jean, Brenda and Sharon of California, Mary of Arkansas and Betty of Oregon. Claud retired after 32 years Timet in Henderson. Claud loved to fish with his sons and great grandson, Daniel. He was quite a storyteller and loved to joke and laugh. He was a longtime active member of Victory Road Church of Christ in Henderson. Visitation to be held Friday, October 14, 2016 from Noon until 2 PM with Funeral Service at 2 PM and burial immediately following at Palm Eastern Mortuary and Cemetery, 7600 S Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89123.
