Clifford Wataru Nekoba, 70, died November 5, 2016 at Mountainview Hospital in Las Vegas, NV. Born in Hilo, he retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years to continue to serve the US government in Okinawa, Japan where he fully retired from the workforce to settle in Las Vegas, NV. He was a Vietnam Veteran. Services will be held at Palm Southwest Mortuary, 7979 W. Warm Springs, Las Vegas, NV on January 28, 2017 at 1 p.m. with reception to follow. He is survived by spouse, Edie Nekoba; daughter, Mae Nekoba, of San Dimas, CA; brothers, Francis Nekoba of Alexandria, VA, Clyde Nekoba of Hilo, HI, and Arthur Nekoba of Reno, NV; nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins.
