Corinna Gardner Maganis, born on September 8, 1965, in Hawaii, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2024, at the age of 59. After growing up in Hawaii, Corinna later made Las Vegas her home, where she spent her remaining years.
Corinna was known for her quick wit and sharp sense of humor, always ready with a clever comment that could make anyone laugh. She had a natural gift for connecting with people and loved making new friends wherever she went. One of her favorite ways to unwind was spending time at her local spot, where she enjoyed the company of friends and familiar faces, always finding a way to brighten someone’s day.
Corinna had many passions, from cooking to crafting and music, but nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her grandsons. The three of them could often be found together, watching TV and using their iPads at the same time, sharing laughs and enjoying each other’s company. Her grandsons were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment with them. She was also a welcoming presence in the lives of those around her, always being the place people turned to when they needed comfort, laughter, or just good company.
Corinna is survived by her loved ones, including her daughter, Ashley Hunter; her two cherished grandsons, Greyson and Cameron Hunter; and Corinna Nahakuelua. Her love for her family, her humor, and her generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
In accordance with Corinna’s wishes, no formal services will be held. The family asks that friends and loved ones keep her memory alive in their hearts.
