Daniel Clarkson, lovingly known as “DC” was born March 9, 1986, to the parents of Michael and Rita Clarkson in Philadelphia, PA. DC is survived by his only daughter Jamiee, eldest brother Michael and 3 sisters Michelle, Nicole & Alena. DC moved to Las Vegas with his family in 2001 where he graduated from Liberty High School in 2004.
Throughout the years, DC became widely known for his talent of bringing people together. His love for people radiated within his smile, his sense of humor and overall being. DC worked a handful of jobs before finding his calling within Las Vegas Nightlife promotions. DC excelled in this field due to his natural born people skills, creative social marketing & the love of networking. These attributes made him very successful and respected among his peers in his industry. At the peak of his career, COVID-19 struck which re-directed his focus to Real Estate. DC received personal mentorship from friend & mentor Matt Snyder. Upon passing his Real Estate exam, Matt brought DC onto Simply Vegas -Snyder Team in which he quickly excelled during this short time. It was this very transition that began his favorite phrase “From clubs to cribs.”
If you knew DC, you knew he strived for success. He encouraged others to find their own success. Motivated others to be better and do better for themselves and their family. He loved his friends and family dearly. He was that friend, brother, uncle that was present for every celebration, crisis, phone a friend, weekend trips and more. He loved to travel. He loved adventure. He lived life to the fullest. He took every opportunity provided and turned it into a win.
DC sadly departed us February 20, 2022 doing what he loved. He would agree life is not worth living if you do not seek risk & reward. Seek to be the greatest version of yourself. Even though DC has physically left behind his beloved friends and family, just know he is in heaven watching over you and encouraging you to stay the course. Do not let this departion keep you from becoming the best version of yourself.
Remark from the family: Be mindful of the advice and encouragement he provided to all of you and if he were here today he would tell all of you “Live life while you can.”
