My dad was the most caring person I ever knew. He was willing to give the shirt of his back to anyone that needed it and never put himself first.  He was there for not just me but every single person he knew. I could have never asked for a better father. Even though he's not here with us right now he will always be watching over all of us.

I'm David's Aunt Janet.  David was a beautiful soul. He cared and loved his family so much.  I remember when he was little he always wanted to be around his mom, always wanting her to hold him, or just to be near her.  I think felt that way his whole life.  I have a funny memory of him and my boys. The boys were 9, 10ish. David was over here playing with the boys and they were so quiet outside,  I go to check on them, they are covered head to toe in mud. They made themselves a big mud hole in my backyard. They had mud in their ears, up their noses and I even saw mud on their teeth lol. It was funny but they had a blast. The difficult part after, and alittle painful ( being boys and all), was spraying  them off . Lol .                                     I love you David, I love you bunches. 

The first time I met David we were getting off the bus from elementary school. There was this one kid who would pick on me all the time and as usual he started with his sly remarks while getting off the bus. From nowhere David appeared next to me and told this kid you mess with him you mess with me. Now ive seen David befor around the neighborhood we grew up in but never said a word to him. Even tho a year younger than me and having never talked to me befor David was willing to get into a fight for me. At that moment I thought this kid is nuts. The bully walked away and David turned to me with his cheesy ass smile that he just never grew out of and said, "hi im Gizmo!" From that day on he was my best friend. The entire Brown family treated me like I was part of the family. Heaven truly is blessed to have him. So ill say good by for now. One day tho ill get to see you again. I love and miss you Gizzy! 

David offered to be my witness at my court house wedding. My deepest regret is to not taking him up on that offer. We drank together at some hole in the wall bar when I told him I was getting married. Little did I know that would be the last time we see each other the last time he’d call me little Lisa. I hope he finds peace, I wish his family finds love and support  in the darkest of times. 

My deepest condolences to all the family and friends and especially to his son Anthony! My heart breaks for you all! I will always remember David as a sweet little boy!! I will keep you guys in my thought and prayers! 🙏❤️

My favorite memory with David was just him living with me the last few months! I got him into a few shows that he never watched Vikings was his favorite so far. But one thing he would always tell me that i will cherish is to never say goodbye it’s always see you later! So to you David Brown see you later until we meet again! Love you Brotha 💙

 Moving to Victorville from Colton ,  I remember David with his beautiful blonde hair and his little smile and being the youngest one in "the group" but blended with everyone . I have some vague memories of him in the back of a red little car zipping through the neighborhood.
As we all got older and moved away , I am beyond blessed to have David sister Jessica  as my best friend . With that being said , I Know David was an AMAZING father and had a sweet soul. I would video chat Jessica  and David would always managed to pop in and say hello and chit chatted. I would always "Aww David him" because in my mind he would always be that little boy I met when I moved to Victorville with his beautiful blonde hair and little smile.

David was a loyal and kind friend. He was my best friend. We talked every single day, either about a new show or game or every day life struggles. One of my favorite memories was on Slicks birthday when David was teaching me how to ride a jet ski. His brother cut us off and me and him flew into the water. I was the only one with a life jacket and I thought this fool was drowning but he was good. Or the time we got locked out of his car at the bar. Or times spent barbecuing. It’s honestly hard to pick a favorite memory because there are so many.  But no matter what he will always be my brother in this life and beyond. I love you David. RIP BHK forever 

I had the pleasure of meeting David through my son Luda. David was always kind and caring and showed great love for me and my son. I am forever grateful of their friendship. Blessed to have known you for even a little while. ❤️

It sucks that you left us all to write this letter. I should start by letting your family know that I am here for you all. David’s spirit lives within us all. Ever since I’ve heard the news I have been feeling your presence, I could still here your laugh, I could still see that big smile you have that would light up any room. I was deeply saddened to hear of David's passing. I first met David when my son and I moved in the house across the street. He was a bright eyed, happy, loving, 9 year old boy ! I'm wishing his family  smiles amid their tears as they remember the love David brought into their lives. He may be gone from our sight but never from our hearts. RIP my young friend.

Every single day I’ll miss my brother JD. I had the pleasure of knowing him for quite a few years. David was the absolute most genuine and kind soul out. He would give you the shirt off his back, or the hat on his head. I speak from personal experiences. David one day just randomly after I complimented his hat, tossed it to me and said “it’s your brother”.  There will never be another like him. I didn’t know the weekend two weeks before your passing would be the last or I would of called out of work the whole damn week just to spend time with you. We must grieve, because we can not think of my brother and cry or be sad every time. That doesn’t mean I’m in the clear myself by any means. But that is the last thing he would want for anyone. David I will never let Ant forget how much you loved him and always did anything in the world  for him.

Damn Cuzzo. Where do I even begin. 

A couple 11 y/o boys with the same crush on our English teacher. 

Only white boys in the whole class everyone just figured we were cousins, so we never corrected them. 

We stuck together from then on . True loyalty was shown on both ends starting real early in every way shape and form. I could tell story after story some good some bad but there is no question at 27 you had more adventures under your belt than most will in 50+ . 

You are blessed to have an amazing legacy (ANT) who will flourish into a great man.

You are blessed to have an amazing family who has done so much for you and will always love you and keep your memory strong. 

You are blessed to have a group of friends who love you as BrotHers who will be here to tell your tale and help with your legacy and family.

In life people are visitors in your life that come in and out. Sometimes irrelevant but then you get unique individuals. David was one of them. The loving man with the Grinch smirk. He always, always extended a helping hand to the one in need.Like all of us reading this, we have countless memories with him. One of my favorite ones is when he helped me move. There we are riding a U-Haul down Blue Diamond. “Lou, pull over I have to pee!” We pull into the gas station to find out the men’s restroom is closed. He looks over his shoulder and steps into the women’s restroom. I’m waiting for him outside the door. A line of about four women starts. He comes out to dirty looks from disgruntled women. He takes it gracefully and greets them. He then says to them “if I could’ve put the seat down I would’ve.” 
It was one of the funniest things I’ve witnessed. 
David, loyalty was his motto and brotherhood his lifestyle. I love you. Rest easy, brother.

I'm saddened to hear the news.  My sympathy goes out to you.  David will be remembered. A person that departs from this earth never truly leaves, for they are still alive in our hearts and minds, through us, they live on.

Noble, selfless, generous, David would’ve given you the shirt off his back if you needed it. Always polite, considerate, the unwavering dedication to his friends and family unrivaled. The guy would walk 20 miles across town and take 2 busses just to kick it.  He inspired others around him to just be better people, humble as a monk and a goofball to boot.  You will be greatly missed Brother.. My heart goes out to all of you reading or hearing this now and hope that you join me in honoring David’s legacy by being the best people you can be, if we could be even half as kind as he was the world would certainly be a better place. I remember one of the first times I heard David call me his sister.  It was right before he beat up some guy for putting his hands on me. With no hesitation David yelled it "Dont touch my sister!" Later when I went to thank him he hugged me and so nonchalantly replied "yeah, ofcourse." Thats just the kind of person David was. Once he loved you that was it, you were family. He would have your back through the good and the bad and there was no going back. If I've ever seen true loyalty it was through David. As much as it hurts to loose him I am greatful to have been loved by him. Rest in Peace Brother 

I met David in 6th grade , him and Matt use to tell everyone they were cousins ; wich I use to tease them about.  I knew damn well they weren't cousins.  It's ironic though because now I tell everyone David's my brother.  Through all the years David has become more than a friend.  David became my brother.  I'm blessed I got to have the time I spent with David , he was a selfless, kind, brave,forgiving, loving man .
Years ago I came clean to David about something I did in the past.  My conscious couldn't bare the guilt.  In the 6th grade I stole his bike cause I didn't want to walk home in the summer heat.  When I told him about it he laughed and shrugged it off.  He told me " dude don't trip , I stole that bike from the neighbor". I can't help but smile when I reminisce on the good times we had.
 I'm going to miss him.
Thank you Regina for giving David to the world.  He was a blessing every moment he was here.

David is my friend, brother, and family member. He was always a true soul who would give his everything in sacrifice for companionship. From the very day that I've met him there was no doubt in my mind that this man was a real person. I hope we get to share all the laughs and smiles again someday in the universe. Eastside forever

I have so many childhood memories with David, sadly none as an adult . I met David when I was 8 years old, we were 2 years apart exactly. Shared the same birthday so he was already special to me.  My first Vegas friend who became my childhood best friend. I remember I would get ready for school and walk to David's house . Most of the time he was still sleeping so he would have to rush to get ready, most of the time his mom would have to drive us because he made us late. 

My favorite is when we would go to McDonald's across the street ... and pour ice down the slide & use the trays to go down ! Every time I think of that, I laugh ! I would never let my kids do what we did LOL.  

My first sleepover at your house, we all slept in the living room. I was so nervous ! I was the only girl who hung out with the boys ! 

When Adam, You & I, went to the skatepark . Adam fell off his bike and hit the back of his head  so we went back home. We both said, let's go back to the skatepark  ! And of course I fell on my face so I'm crying and we go back home , but you were there comforting me ! 

I won't forget how shy you got on the phone, giggling & laughing away because you were nervous . It has been over 11 years since we talked on the phone... we talked about our memories, even ones you mentioned to me that I didn't even remember ! I'm so proud of the young man you were & amazing father you were to your mini me.  

I will miss you forever David . 

I swear David was someone I could talk to about anything and I never felt judged. He always tried cheering me up or cheering me on in the things I was trying to accomplish. There are plenty of memories and conversations that I will cherish. David always had his friends or families back, reguardless of the situation he was there.  David ADORED his son, and talked about him constantly🙂 no one will ever be able to take his place, but I'm glad that he will be able to watch Anthony grow and radiate love around him constantly in spirit.   Rest in peace 

I have so many memories of David, he was not my blood brother, but my chosen little brother. One of my very favorite memories was when me and Bates were about 14-15 so lil David was only 6-7. We had just watched a movie about Helen Keller and we decided we needed to reenact the whole play to David.  Oh David, he just sat there on the bottom bunk bed looking at us like we were crazy! But he let us do our entire act without getting up and leaving. As adults anytime I’d see him he’d wrap his arm around me and say “Hey Shaffer”. I’ll miss that the most! David is the sweetest kid and always was, my heart will forever have a small hole missing. 

I have so many amazing memories with David. My favorite would have to be the day our son was born. I was in labor and pushing for several hours and at one point I looked at David and asked “how do I look?” Without hesitation he replied “beautiful!” David was kind in every moment. He was so happy the moment our son came out. He cried as hard as Anthony and they looked like twins. He is a great dad and a great man. Anthony said he has too many great memories and he can’t pick one. He enjoyed the times where him and his dad played video games and joked for hours. David will be missed for the rest of our lives. We love you David and we will always carry you in our hearts. Thank you for the being the man and dad that you were.

I have so many great memories but one that sticks out to me is from a game night at my house a couple years ago.  We were getting ready to play Cards Against Humanity,  one player was offended by the very first card.  David, took the lead and said, "Okay, we will play another game".  It comforts me knowing that he was sensitive to others when the situation called for it. He didn't complain or make it awkward, he moved forward in making the night as fun as possible.

I worked with David a few year's at Greyhound where we had some good times and talks will be very missed RIP

Me and my mother moved into a house on royal guard street when I was in the 3rd grade. I didn't know anybody until One afternoon I saw other kids outside and this little blonde big headed kid walked a few houses down to mine and offered me a pocket cookie and I accepted it. I met life-long friends that afternoon. And I'm grateful just to have known that guy....I'll love that little dude forever because he was genuine before we even knew what it meant to be..

I miss ypu mang my favriote memory is every freaking memory bro woopin on you and the gang in mortal combat ERRYTIME ahha baby bridges, other silly things, i remember we both switched sides of town like crazy yet david brown would always show up for me..
Either bringing me my favriote artists new cd to being the only person to know im in jail... Thata david hes a stand up man he always was and i hope now he can be proud at looking atbwho he is and what he does for us all.
