David “Pops” Conder, 73, a long time resident of Las Vegas passed away on September 19, 2018 at Desert Springs Hospital after a hard-fought battle with COPD. He was born July 19, 1945 in Richfield, Utah. He and his family moved to Las Vegas in 1979 where he lived the remainder of his life.
After graduating high school, David enlisted in the Utah National Guard where he received awards as an excellent marksman. After his service, David stated his lifelong career as an interstate truck driver. During his time as a driver he logged millions of miles and received multiple driver safety awards.
David loved spending time in the mountains around his childhood home where he was able to hunt and fish. One of the things that always brought joy to him was being able to just sit around a table and enjoy coffee and share stories with anyone that would listen. It was impossible to have a conversation with Pops without him telling you at least one joke, even up to his time of passing he was joking with the nurses and doctors.
He is survived by his daughter Brenda Myers; son Michael and his wife Tiffany; son John and his wife Jennifer; his six grandchildren Kevin, Krystal, Paige, Keila, Landon and Addyson; and his ten great-grandchildren Aleksei, Kyranee, Emilia, Leilani, Rafferty, Maverick, Eliza, Drake, Ava, and Penelope.
Services will be held at 9:00am, September 29, 2018 at Palm Mortuary.
