

After years of battling complications due to Marfan syndrome, he was unable to recover from a severe stroke that he suffered in February.
He was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on June 2, 1960.
Dean grew up in rural Wisconsin and attended the University of Wisconsin in Madison. In 1981, he followed his family in their move to Las Vegas where he began a long successful career in the hospitality industry.
Dean was an avid reader with a sharp and witty mind. He enjoyed trivia and any game that challenged his mind. He was knowledgeable in almost any topic you could think of and had a great memory. Although soft spoken, he was generous and thoughtful. He loved animals and had several pets throughout his life. Most of all he was always there to support his family and friends.
He is survived by his mother Carmela; his sisters Jean and Christine; and a niece and two nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the Marfan Foundation.
Funeral services will be held at 5:00 pm on June 17th, 2017 at Palm Mortuary at 7600 S. Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas, Nevada.
