We will miss Uncle Den, but know he is watching over us with grandma and grandpa. We’re glad the family could be together today for the service, and appreciate the Air Force honor guard being there to show their appreciation for his service to our country.

Our memories of Dennis thru the years…my mother Mollie & Rosie were very close & lived in the same apartment house in the Bronx and had summer homes in Lake Mohegan together. I was very protective of my younger cousin Dennis & no one missed with him when I was around. Cousin Marty, made sure on all west coast business trips to visit the Bealick’s & the Godorov’s. While it was Aunt Rosie who gambled with him into the wee hours, it was cousin Dennis who shared memories with Marty growing up as Yankee & Knick fans & playing in the Bronx school yards. But nothing in the sports world excited Dennis more than the UNLV’s “Running Rebels” team under the leadership of legendary coach Jerry Tarkanian. Dennis was friends with  “the Shark” over a 10 yr period (‘83-‘92) when the Rebels won more games over that stretch than any basketball team in NCAA history. Dennis was a great sportsman & a wonderful & caring cousin. We will miss him dearly.







Dennis and I were best friends from medical school and kept in good contact for more than half a century after that.  My wife Sarina and I  had many meetings with him  over the years and will miss him.                      We are happy that we met again in California, Las Vegas and Louisville  and kept in telephone contact. 

On behalf of the Schipper family, our deepest sympathy to the entire Bealick , Allen and Godorov families. Many memories of cousin Dennis. Last saw him when he came to NJ for Blake's Bar Mitzvah in 2010. My father Donald, who passed 12 years ago, had told me stories when they lived in same building growing up in The Bronx, NYC,  like that he used to give haircuts to his younger cousin, Dennis. May Dennis's soul be bound up in the bond of eternal life.
