Heaven welcomed home Dennis Forshay on Tuesday the 20th of December 2022. He was the epitome of strength and perseverance and fought hard for himself and his family until he took his last breath. His dedication to his family was unprecedented, always coming first and without exception. The light in his laughter and the love in his heart was felt by too many to count. He spread his wit and kindness everywhere he went and made sure to touch lives in a positive way.
Whether you experienced his musical talent through his Sunday church performances, as the Aluminum Can Man, or strumming his guitar while at home in his favorite chair, no one could deny his ability to entertain and provide peace to the weary.
They say the brightest stars burn the fastest, so we must love them while we can, and despite him no longer being with us, he will be forever loved. When you have a memory of him, hear a song that reminds you of him, when you hear a laugh that is so unfiltered and pure, you will think of him, and he’ll be loved.
Dennis was an exceptional husband to Peggy, father to Missy (Scott), Josh (Christine), and Kimmy, grandfather to Blaike (Ronald), Kota, and Brody, brother to James, and friend to everyone. He stood for what was right and fought for others, even when it made him unpopular. He will be severely missed.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.palmeastern.com for the Forshay family.
