Diane Christensen Thornton

Diane was born in Salt Lake City, Utah to James J Christensen and Agnes Hardy Christensen on January 6, 1942. She went to school at Las Vegas High School. Diane married Darrell Eugene Thornton on July 15, 1961 at the Fifth Ward Chapel in Las Vegas, Nevada. Diane graduated Business College and she worked as a Secretary with Nolan Realty and then DeLuca Importing Company. She continued working until her first child was born. Diane continued on to have 5 children, was a member of the LDS Church and served as Primary President, Relief Society President, Young Women's President, Gospel Doctrine teacher and Cultural Arts Specialist. She devoted her life to serving her family and church, as she loved every minute of it! On February 21,1976 Diane and Darrell were sealed as a family in the St. George, Utah Temple. She was a devoted mother who served as PTA President and was known as the Mother of her children’s School. Her family and friends were always her priority. She dedicated her life to everyone she knew.

Diane is preceded in death by James J Christensen, Agnes Hardy Christensen, Darren Eugene Thornton, Darek James Thornton, Kenzie Crampton and Darren DeHart

Diane is survived by Darrell Eugene Thornton, Dana Crampton, John Crampton, DeriAnn Thornton Mannion, Deena Kimberly Thornton, Brittlyn Woods, Kristi Martinez, Dillon Thornton, Kylie Geiger, Danni Dehart, Drew Dehart, Kolby White, Austen Mannion, Bentley Burr, Charley Burr, and Rosie White.

Visitation: January 10, 2025 4:00-6:00 pm @ Palm Mortuary on Eastern

Funeral Services will be on January 11, 2025 @ 12:00-1:00 pm located at The Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints
