Her only granddaughter, Natalie, was born in 1986 to mother Sharon. In 1957, Pastor Holm was sent to Las Vegas and in 1958 he and Esther founded Mountain View Lutheran Church. Esther loved music so she learned to play the organ and formed the choirs since the church didn't have either. Years later, Esther would be asked to play the organ at Lamb of God Lutheran Church. In 1958, Esther began working as the bookkeeper for Desert Supply; a position she would keep for almost 30 years.Esther enjoyed visiting her daughter and granddaughter in Europe, gardening, taking day trips with her friends in the Prime Timers group, enjoying nature and good friends. Esther was preceded in death by her husband in 1980 and her daughter Melody in 2014. She will be missed greatly but is now at peace with her husband, daughter and the Lord.
