She was born on January 10, 1958 in Sarajevo, Bosnia. She found her soulmate, Dragoljub Popovic, whom she married in 1979. They had four children together.
Fadila worked as an Executive Assistant at a wood manufacturing company in Sarajevo. Due to the conflicts in Bosnia, the family moved to Las Vegas in 1994 where they had to rebuild their life. She then took a position at the Luxor as a guest room attendant until she retired.
Fadila enjoyed planting flowers and gardening. She took great pride in her garden. To Fadila family came first and she valued that the most. She loved spending time with her grandson, Andrew. Her heartwarming personality drew people close to her.
Fadila is survived by her husband Dragoljub Popovic; her daughters Maja, Mirela, and Milana; her son Milan; and her grandson Andrew.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on October 18, 2018 at Palm Eastern Mortuary followed by a burial at 3:00pm in Palm Eastern Cemetery.
