A native of Gamu, Isabela Philippines, Fernando “Danding” Caro Pardo was born on November 18, 1937. He married Lucia B. Bulusan in 1961. During their more than 52 years of marriage, they were blessed with six children: Ferdinand, Yvonne Grace, Brenda, Victorina, Simonette, and Caroll Ludivina.
Fernando became a full-fledged doctor of medicine in the Philippines in 1967 and specialized in anesthesia. He was the Chief of Hospital - Provincial Health Officer of Isabela Provincial Hospital prior to his retirement in 1993.
Known to everyone as a man of few words, Danding was diligent, kind, and prayerful. He lived his life to the fullest in the company of his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Fernando has been a resident of southern Nevada for 14 years before he joined his Creator on September 5, 2013.
