Florence was born on October 20, 1937, in Albany, New York, to her parents, John Barcomb and Adora Dupres. She attended Cornell University, where she earned a degree in Business Economics in 1976. A woman of determination and perseverance, she was also a proud cancer survivor, showing the same strength in adversity that she carried throughout her life.
Her faith was a source of strength and comfort throughout her life, guiding her with love, compassion, and wisdom. Florence cherished time with her friends and family, often hosting them for gatherings and celebrations at her home throughout the years. She had a gift for bringing people together, creating memories filled with laughter, warmth, and love.
Florence was preceded in death by her sister, Bernadette Griffith, and her beloved son, Robert Nolan. She is survived by her remaining children, as well as her many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren, all of whom will carry her love and legacy forward.
Though Florence is no longer with us in body, her spirit lives on with the love she left in our hearts—never truly gone, but forever near.
