Foster Lee Holloway

Foster was born in Boise City, Oklahoma to Lloyd Julius Holloway and Agnes Marie Holloway on August 9, 1959. He later married Deena Sue Stanhope on September 7, 1985, in Bozeman, Montana; a love that would last almost 40 years in this lifetime.

He graduated high school in Boise City, Oklahoma. He attended Oklahoma State University for two years and then completed a finance degree from Western Colorado University in Gunnison, Colorado. Later, while a young father, Foster completed an MBA from Wayland Baptist University. He was a business owner, contractor and later, a hearing instrument specialist. He loved hiking, hunting, camping, shooting, and generally enjoying God’s creation with his family. A connoisseur of art, he had great appreciation for paintings and sculptures that depicted the old west. Foster was a family man, who loved those around him in a steady, soft way.

A kind, gentle husband and father, lover of the outdoors and all kinds of people, he will be greatly missed by many, and his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. Foster’s unassuming presence will be missed, but the memory of his sly sense of humor and zest for adventure will not be forgotten. He took such joy in spending time with his grandchildren, and they certainly loved playing with their Papa.

He is preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Holloway; mother, Marie Holloway; and sister, Janell Holloway. Foster is survived by his wife, Deena Holloway; his children Aspen Green and husband, Andrew of Austin, Texas; Skyler Holloway of Salt Lake City, Utah; Sierra Holloway of Austin, Texas; and Summer Holloway of Henderson, Nevada; four grandchildren: Hamilton Green; Walter Green, Davis Green, and Loretta Green; brothers: Steven Holloway, (wife Cynthia) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and brother Stanley Holloway (wife Stephanie) of Amarillo, Texas.

A visitation for Foster will be held Thursday, August 8, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Palm Mortuary - Eastern, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123. A funeral service will occur Friday, August 9, 2024 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at Green Valley Baptist Church, 270 N Valle Verde Dr, Henderson, NV 89074. A graveside service will occur Friday, August 9, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Palm Eastern Cemetery, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123.
