Francisco B. Castro, 76, of Las Vegas, passed away June 17, 2011. He was born March 11, 1935, in Guam, and resided in Nevada for eight years. He was a retired U.S. Military instructor, a member of the American Legion #40 and the VFW #10047. Francisco is survived by his wife, of 53 years, Isabel; daughters, Debra Ann (Ed) Santos, Jeanne (Ed) Barsano, Karen (Bob) Beard and Carolyn (Darryl) Goodson: sons, Frank and Danny R. Castro; brother, Artemio (Helen) Castro; 14 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Wednesday, June 22, with a Rosary at 6 p.m., at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Service will be at noon Thursday, June 23, at St. Thomas More, 130 N. Pecos Road. Interment will be at 1:20 p.m. Thursday, June 23, at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
