

Frank Timothy Rody, beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, son and friend, passed away in death on August 4, 2024 at the age of 76 in Boulder City, Nevada. He was affectionately known as Tim by those who knew him best. Tim was born on July 16, 1948 in Kansas City, Missouri to Frank Alonso Rody and Luella Fern Nokes (Rody). Tim travelled the world with his parents and his older brother, Michael Dean Rody. He always looked up to his older brother and loved his family. As a young child he lived in Iran, Lebanon and Costa Rica, as his father’s work took the family to many different places. As a young man, Tim served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He married Marion Nepomuceno in 1975 and embraced her daughter, Michelle, as his own. Together Tim and Marion had one son, Christopher Michael Rody. Tim and Marion first met and worked together at the Sahara Hotel in Las Vegas. He later worked as a Bartender at the Showboat Hotel for the majority of his career. He was an observer of the world around him and was a spiritual man. Tim appreciated many different people, cultures and customs. He enjoyed various philosophies and ideologies and was known to be an existential thinker.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents and older brother, Michael and his son, Christopher.
He will be deeply missed by his family including his wife, Marion; daughter, Michelle Menor; son-in-law, John Menor; grandchildren, Rudy and Amara Menor; sister-in-law, Nancy Rody; nephew, Timothy Sean Rody; nieces, Britt Nowlin and JJ Caldwell and their respective families.
Services for Frank Timothy Rody will be held on September 12th at 8 a.m. at St. Sharbel Catholic Church at 10325 Rancho Destino Road in Las Vegas, Nevada and following inurnment on October 5th at 11 a.m. at St. Therese Mission Catholic Cemetery at 881 E. Old Spanish Trail, in Tecopa, California.
