Gary Thomas Murray

Gary attended Fairhouse Infant school, Fairhouse JR school and Chalvedon Senior school. After high school, Gary went to sea in the Merchant Navy for companies such as the British Petroleum. This job allowed him to travel all around the world. 

After that job he moved to America, he was a very private man with integrity, very thoughtful, and he was a problem solver.

Gary became a carpenter and superintendent for various builders and loved building homes and other structures in Las Vegas, Nevada.

He enjoyed off-roading in his truck, going fishing and shooting in the desert.

Gary was the son of the late Thomas and Anne Murray. Predeceased by his sister, Tracey Donley and beloved dog, Taz. Gary is survived by his brother, Stuart Murray, and brother in law, James Donley. His aunts; Linda, Josephine, Rita and Lily. His children; Pashar, Garrick, Lindsay, and Samantha. Lastly, his grandchildren; Ricardo, Esmeralda, Alaina, Lincoln, and Emersyn.

Gary will be dearly missed by many. Heaven has truly gained an angel.

A visitation will be held at Palm Eastern Mortuary, located at 7600 S Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89123, on January 6, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

The funeral service will take place at Palm Eastern Mortuary on January 7, 2026, starting at 1:00 pm.

Following the funeral service, a committal service will be held at Palm Eastern Cemetery, also located at 7600 S Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89123, on January 7, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
