Harold Friedman, 97, a retired partner in a Las Vegas recycling business - Silver Dollar Recycling, passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2014. He was born on December 30, 1916 in New York, New York to Max and Frances Friedman. Corporal Friedman enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1943 and served during World War II as a driver for Generals Campbell, Patton and Eisenhower. He is survived by his two sons, Harold “Sparky” Friedman, Jr. (Debbie) and Robert “Bob” Friedman (Jeanette), both of Las Vegas; sister, Barbara Sternfeld (Allan) of Beverly Hills, CA; and four grandchildren, Michele (John), Michael, Raquel, and Kyle; and three great-grandchildren, Luke, Jorden and Ana. Family requests memorial donations be made to Nathan Adelson Hospice. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Sunday, June 1, 2014 at King David Memorial Chapel, 2697 E.
