Imakulata "Tauiliili" Filo

Imakulata Tauiliili Filo, 72, of Henderson, Nevada, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2025. Born in Saleia, Samoa in 1952 to the late Iosefo and Elisapeta Tauiliili, Imakulata was the last surviving member of the Matriarch Tauiliili lineage —a legacy she carried and protected like a warrior with pride.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Iosefo Tui and Elisapeta Tauiliili, her brothers: Felise Tauiliili I, Felise Tauiliili II, Petelo Tauiliili, and Sumatala Iosefo Tauiliili, sisters: Kolotita Tauiliili Silofau, Malia Palaita, Liliegi Tauiliili, and Losalia Ela Sa'au and sons: Saiaiga Tauiliili (6/21/2022) and Paulo Tauiliili (7/20/2022).

Imakulata is survived by her children: Imeleta Tauiliili, Ropati Tauiliili, Pennitito Tauiliili, Tavita Tauiliili, and Apaula Tauiliili. She also leaves behind eleven cherished grandchildren: Elizabeth Atonio-Perez, Lilibeth Atonio, Selena Atonio, Christine Atonio, Tino Atonio, Princess-Nafanua Hansell, Candi Masaniai Tauiliili, Alanoe Pemasa, Alathea Tauiliili, Natalia Tauiliili, & Nicholas Tauiliili and four beloved great-grandchildren: Eden Atonio, Ezra Sa'au & Elise Carra-Tauiliili, and Eilani Hansell.

Though her physical presence is no longer with us, Imakulata’s spirit will continue to uplift and inspire all who knew her. May her memory be a blessing, and may her legacy live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

Funeral services for Imakulata will begin at 1pm on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at Palm Southwest Mortuary, 7979 W. Warm Springs Rd., Las Vegas, NV where family will receive friends from 11am until 1pm. Services will be officiated by Fr. Falaniko Atonio. Burial will follow at Davis Memorial Park.
