He was born in Youngstown, Ohio on August 22, 1931, the son of Frank and Belle Winger and the brother of Estelle (Steindler).
Irv grew up in Youngstown, graduating from Rayen High School. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from the School of Life. He maneuvered through various careers before finding his passion as an auctioneer.
Irv is survived by Karen, his wife of nearly 43 years; son Mark (Jon); daughter Amee (Boe); two grandsons Tyler and Braeden; his sister; stepson Will (Carmen); and granddaughters Hannah and Katie. Irv was preceded in death by his parents; son Jeffrey; and granddaughter Jennifer “JJ”.
Funeral arrangements will be held on February 6, 2018 at Palm Eastern Mortuary and Cemetery. Viewing at 1:00 pm, Service at 2:00pm and Burial immediately following service.
