Jacqueline Patrice Sutton, 72, of Las Vegas, NV, passed away on Monday, August 4, 2025. In Grand Prairie, Texas. Jackie was born on September 9, 1952, in Westchester County, NY. She was raised in the Bronx, NY, by her father, Pasquale Valenza, and mother, Eleanor Valenza. Jackie moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, in 1975, where she lived most of her life. She met her husband, Frank Sutton, in Las Vegas; they instantly fell in love and were married. Jackie was the rock of her family and took pride in raising her two children, Frankie Jr. and Jillian. She also took in and helped raise her nephew Nikko. Jackie was the one who never let the small things bother her and she was always there to support her family and put them before herself, no matter what. Jackie always made sure her family was content and had what they needed, while touching the lives of many.
About 15 years ago, Jacqueline suffered a stroke, and her fate was not promising. She was placed on life support, and doctors bared bad news; however, one neurologist offered the family a chance. Heartbroken, her family was not expecting a full recovery. Slowly, Jackie improved little by little every day. She kept fighting, and her WILL to KEEP GOING was admirable. In spite of the possibility of a poor outcome, Jackie not only proved she could survive her stroke, but she LIVED. She has spent the last 15 years living every day and surrounding herself with the simple joys of family, life, and love. She loved crossword puzzles and caring for her dogs, while spending every waking moment with her family by her side. Even after the death of her husband and only son, Jackie continued to fight to live everyday. In her later years, she moved to Texas to be near her daughter and grandkids. Her favorite thing to do was spend time with her grandkids. She vacationed with her daughter and grandchildren this past June and spent a day at Disneyland in California, enjoying the rides and fun with her family.
Jackie was free-spirited and a kid at heart. She lived day by day and took life as it came, the good times along with the bad times. Her sudden passing has left her family heartbroken, but Jackie has always done things her way, and she has found her eternal peace in going home with the lord to be with her son and husband. Jackie is survived by her daughter Jillian Vo, son-in-law Andrew Vo, nephew Nikko Valenza, daughter Kellie Monsen, and grandchildren AJ, Blake, Gia, Lyla, Colin, and Grace. Jackie is also survived by her older brothers Richard DiPaolo and Eddie DiPaolo, and younger sisters Nicolette Abrams and Danielle Valenza. She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Frank Sutton, and her son, Frankie Sutton Jr.
