I worked with Skip for 22 years at the 9th District. He was always professional, quick with a joke and a great guy to be around. R.I.P. Jim, you earned it.

 "Skippy" We met here in Vegas, I wish I had worked with you in Chi would have been fun. We had a lot of good laughs at breakfast with the guys and gals of CPD on Fri mornings. Its the end of watch so rest in peace and raise hell up there. We will miss you. Don Conner (Henderson NV )

I worked with Skip in 001 in the early nineties. I worked with him whenever his regular partner was off. Always a professional and a gentleman. Rest easy Beat 112.

I worked with Skip in the 1970's at the Chicago Police Department's 9th District. We worked the prisoner lockup as partners. He made me laugh everyday. God rest his soul.

Jim worked in the First District, 001, Chicago Police Department for much of his long proud Police career. When I worked with him he was assigned as the senior desk officer and filled in as the desk sergeant when necessary. The First District Desk was the busiest of all District desks. He was the expert and go to guy for all possible situations. He always knew how to handle everything. As a watch commander/lieutenant I had absolute confidence in Jim. Thanks for your service and Rest In Peace.

Skippy, your sense of humor, quick wit & generosity will always be remembered.  Thank you for the weekly laughs and putting smiles on many faces.  My sincerest condolences to your family.

Dear Daddy thanks for the love and generosity  you gave to me and my brother. Even though we are not related in blood. Jemuel and me are very lucky have a third Grand Father like you. Too bad that we never see you in flesh  to thank you in person. Daddy  have a special place in our hearts.
