Jamie Kanani Berongis, born November 4, 1972, in Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2025, in Las Vegas, NV, at the age of 52. Jamie was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and daughter whose warmth, kindness, and unwavering strength left a profound impact on everyone who knew her.
Born to Davlyn Marshall, Jamie lived a life filled with love, compassion, and dedication to her family. She was a devoted partner to her husband, Conan Berongis, with whom she shared a life of joy and cherished memories. Though not the biological father of her children, Conan was a loving and supportive presence in Jamie’s life and in the lives of her children.
Jamie was the proud and devoted mother of four children: Jaycelyn, Jasmine, Jensen, and James (Herbert). She found her greatest pride and happiness in their accomplishments and growth. One of her greatest joys was being a grandmother to her precious granddaughter, Jaeley—affectionately known as “Bugs.” Jamie embraced her role as a “Gramma” with endless love and care, treasuring every moment with Jaeley.
She was a cherished sister to Chanelle and Tylee, with whom she shared unbreakable bonds full of memories, laughter, and mutual support. Jamie was also a devoted daughter to her mother, Davlyn Marshall, whose values and strength shaped her into the remarkable woman she became.
Jamie’s life was a testament to love in action—whether through her sacrifices for her family, her support for friends, or her wisdom shared with those seeking guidance. Her gentle yet determined spirit was an inspiration to all, and she will be remembered for her beautiful smile, calming presence, and ability to make everyone feel truly valued and seen.
Jamie is survived by her husband Conan, her children Jaycelyn, Jasmine, Jensen, and James (Herbert), her granddaughter Jaeley, her sisters Chanelle and Tylee, and her mother Davlyn Marshall, along with countless other family members and friends who loved her deeply.
Jamie Kanani Berongis leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and compassion that will continue to inspire those whose lives she touched. Though her physical presence is no longer with us, her memory will live on in our hearts forever.
A celebration of Jamie’s life will be held on February 25, 2025, at Palm Eastern Mortuary in Las Vegas, NV, beginning at 3:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to come together to honor her memory and share stories of her remarkable life.
