Janet Eickhoff, 92 years old, of Henderson, NV, died 1/29/25. Janet was born 7/21/32 in St. Cloud, MN to Fred and Ethel Gillie. Janet had a BA in Education. She married Lawrence Eickhoff on July 3, 1954. She loved teaching elementary school aged children, playing cards with her friends, spending time with family and traveling the world.
Janet is survived by and will be deeply missed by her children Lee Eickhoff, of Henderson, NV, Joel Eickhoff of Las Vegas, NV, Judy Sillman of Lutsen, MN; her son-in-law Brad Sillman of Lutsen, MN; grandchildren Joe Brumbaugh of Anoka, MN, Mandy Christian of Forest Lake, MN and Mandy’s husband Nick Christian of Forest Lake, MN; step grandchildren, Jessica Robinson, Tad Sillman, Tanya Sillman, Jamie Johnson and her brother Bruce Gillie of Williams, MN.
Janet was preceded in death by her parents, husband and siblings Robert Gillie, Joann Krumviede and Roger Gillie.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
A committal service for Janet will be held Wednesday, February 26, 2025 from 1:20 PM to 2:00 PM at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Mem, Boulder City, NV 89005.
