Jason David Shields, 54, of Henderson, Nevada, passed away on November 19, 2025. Born on May 27, 1971, in Fort McClellan, Alabama, Jason lived a life marked by devotion to his family, pride in his work, and a one-of-a-kind sense of humor that could bring laughter to any room.
A master pipe fitter and plumber by trade, Jason was known for his unmatched work ethic and loyalty. He married the love of his life, Ginevra, after 15 years together, and together they built a family that became his greatest joy. Jason adored his two sons, Jaden and Robert, and took endless pride in watching them grow, persevere, and chase their dreams. His sarcastic wit, protective heart, and steadfast love made him not only a husband and father but also his family’s anchor and best friend.
Jason is survived by his loving wife, Ginevra; sons, Jaden and Robert; mother, Sarah; father, David; sister, Jennessa; plus, many loving family members and friends.
A reception in his honor, “Picking Jason up from work,” will be held Sunday, December 14, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Palm Eastern Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89123. A celebration of life will follow at a later date.
Our boys and I thank everyone for their support, love, and guidance during this extremely difficult time. Jason is not only our protector, father, and best friend — he’s our life, the air we breathe, our moon and stars…. RIP my love, we will be together again someday….
