Jessey A. Chavira

Jessey Alan Chavira was born on March 17, 1995 and was raised in Las Vegas, Nevada all of his life. He passed away and went to Heaven on August 5, 2014 in Azusa, California. His death was a tragic incident that has left everyone in despair. Jessey was the son of Catalina Chavira and Luis Chavira, and brother of Luis Raul Chavira Yanez. He went to Secta High School and graduated from Del Sol High School in 2013 where he had many accomplishments. He ran cross-country in high school and he won medals in his year of running. Jessey also played cello for his middle school orchestra at Cannon Middle School. Jessey touched many lives in the short time he was with us, but that was him—always eager for life and eager to help everyone around him.

If you knew Jessey, you know what I mean. His personality had that special something. He was meant for great things. He was very ambitious and all about family. He was always excited about the next day, with a smile on his face. He would leave an impression on you with just the first day of meeting him. He had a very big heart and was always thinking about everyone. Jessey left us much too soon, but now he will be watching over everyone, keeping us safe.

May he rest in peace, always remembered, and never forgotten. We will always love you.
