Aunt Jennie: I am so sorry for your loss. I will miss Uncle Joe very much. I remember when I was six or sevsn years old and looking up at him always made me a little nervous because he was so big. But as all of us came to know that it was his big heart that made him a giant of a man. The two of you were a match made in heaven. My prayers are with you. Love you always, Little Margaret.

Uncle Joe was my favorite, always fair and always loving. My Uncle Joe was my father's best friend and they were like brothers. Uncle Joe was always a good man and so much in love with my Aunt Jennie. I know that Aunt Jennie will be alright because she was so loved by my Uncle Joe and have memories that will last longer then a lifetime. I am so glad that I had spoken with my uncle weeks before he passed. Eventhough I have not seen my uncle for a very long time I will miss him very much and that special smile that I remember so well. I know that Aunt Jennie will be just fine because her husband will be with her always and still loving her. I love you Aunt Jennie and miss you all very much. My cousins Maria and Joseph had the best dad that anyone could ask for and they will always have a smile on their face when they think of their dad. What an amazing man!!  My prayers and thoughts are with all of you during this difficult time.  Just remember all the GREAT times you were fortunate to have with him!!

How can I express how saddened I am.  Joe and Jennie have been my second set of parents.  We grew up living right next door on 28th Street.  We shared vacations, holidays and so much more together.   When I bought my first car, it was Joe who drove us to Queens to pick it up.  When My father passed away, it was Joe who brought his stamp collection to my house in No. Babylon because he didn't want anything to happen to them.  He knew just how important they were to my father.  I have so many wonderful memories, way too many to list here.  But, as heartbroken as I am, I know I have a lifetime of memories, and they are all so precious to me.  Dear Jennie, Mimi, Joseph, and family, know I love you and you have my deepest sympathy.  Though he has left us, he isn't really gone..as long as we remember.  He lives forever in our hearts.  God Bless and keep you all safe.  Always and forever Aurora and family.
