Judith Joanne Watkins

Judith Watkins was born on February 16, 1937, and peacefully passed away on December 17, 2025. She will be lovingly remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and cherished friend.

Judith was the proud mother of four children: Cordell (Addie), Dedra, Karla, and Angelia, whom she loved deeply and supported throughout her life. Her legacy continues through her 12 grandchildren, her great-grandchildren, and a host of extended family and dear friends who were blessed to know her.

She was preceded in death by parents Edward and Mildred Payne; her brother, Edward Jr (Gracie); and her sister, Joanne.

Judith is survived by her loving siblings, Julian (Janice), Joyce, and Jerome, cousins Annetta, Charlotte (Vaughn) Debra and Sylvia, along with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and friends who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.

In 2022, Judith made her home in Las Vegas, where she embraced life fully. She absolutely loved the Chicago Bears and never missed an opportunity to cheer them on. She also had a true love for casinos, especially slot machines, which brought her joy, excitement, and many memorable moments.

Judith’s life was marked by strength, warmth, and a deep love for family and simple pleasures. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
