Julie DeAnne Becker, 52, of Las Vegas, fought a valiant battle with cancer and went peacefully Sept. 8, 2010. She was born April 5, 1958, in Landstuhl, Germany, and was a 40-year resident of Nevada. Julie graduated El Dorado High School in 1976. She worked in casino gaming for 31 years, most recently at Wynn Las Vegas as a casino dealer. She was preceded in death by her father, Dale Becker in 2001. Julie is survived by her mother, Donna of Las Vegas; brother, Jeff; sister-in-law, Connie; and niece, Hannah of Canton, Ga. All of us will miss her dearly. Memorial service will be at noon Saturday, Sept. 18, at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Donations can be made to Nathan Adelson Hospice or the American Cancer Society .
