

She was born June 30, 1968 in City of San Fernando, Pampanga, Philippines, the fourth and youngest child of Gerardo and Elisa Basilio.
She is reunited in heaven with her parents, and husband of 4 years, Jose "Joey" Ramos on 9/11/2001.
Julieta is survived by sisters, Victoria Basilio, of City of San Fernando, Pampanga, Philippines, and Maria Luisa Ablay (Nemesio "Junie" Ablay III) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; brother Rufino Manuel Basilio (Mina Narciso), of City of San Fernando, Pampanga, Philippines; life partner of 20 years, Joel Eickhoff, of Las Vegas, Nevada; nieces and nephews Brian, Ghian (Pat), Tristan (Iel), Marc, Kim (Lance), Karlissa (Peter), Julienne, Joan (Tate), Kristine and Jeffrey.
Julieta spent her early childhood in the barrio of San Vicente, town of Santo Tomas, Pampanga, Philippines. She was a graduate of University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines, in 1988, with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology, Angeles University Foundation College of Medicine, in 1992 in Angeles City, Pampanga, Philippines, with a degree of Doctor of Medicine, and Laguna Northwestern College, in 2000 in Laguna, Philippines with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Julieta was employed as a Registered Nurse in Las Vegas, Nevada, for over 20 years. Her initial assignment was at Summerlin Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada, followed by Good Shepherd Rehabilitation, an outpatient rehabilitation facility in Las Vegas.
Julieta loved to travel, having had the opportunity to experience trips throughout the United States and Canada, in addition to her frequent travel to the Philippines to visit her family. She also had the chance to experience 7 ocean cruises, to the destinations of Alaska, Western Caribbean, transatlantic crossing from Europe to Florida, Canada/New England, Europe (Mediterranean), British Isles and Norway/Iceland. Her total number of "days at sea" via ocean cruising was 77, all onboard vessels in the Princess Cruises fleet.
Julieta loved to shop (sometimes referring to it as "retail therapy") in her spare time. She was a very thoughtful and generous person, always thinking about what she could purchase and send to her family in the Philippines, via a "Balikbayan" box. She routinely performed money remittance to her family there. Home decor products were of particular interest to Julieta when shopping.
Julieta also enjoyed watching movies, especially movies released on Hallmark Channel during the Christmas season. She was an avid fan of Vegas Golden Knights professional hockey team in Las Vegas.
A visitation for Julieta will be held Tuesday, September 17, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Palm Mortuary - Eastern, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123. A rosary / novena will be led at 5:00 PM, and then at 6:00 pm the funeral service will occur also at Palm Eastern
