Our beloved mother passed away at home on July 15 at the age of 71 after battling cancer. June was born May 29, 1944 in New Orleans, Louisiana, the daughter of the late Dorothy Dupont and Paul Guidroz. June graduated from Nichols High School in 1963 and immediately married Arthur Ard. They had three children, Barry, Danielle, and Angel. June moved to Las Vegas in 1967. In 1985, June married Mike Smith and had their son, Michael. June was a manicurist, a homemaker, and even a Teamster setting up conventions. June will continue to be loved and remembered by her children Barry and daughter-in-law Dini, Danielle and son-in-law Erik Smith, Angel and late son-in-law Aaron Hernandez, Michael and soon to be daughter-in-law Elisa, her grandchildren Alexa Ard , Anthony Ard, Ashley and Asa Henning, Azriel and Joshua Crumb, Steven Hernandez, her great -granddaughter, Ava, her brother, Milton Boylan, who currently resides in New Orleans, her ex-husband Mike, and her fur-baby Chiva. A memorial service will be held at 4pm on August 1st at Palm Eastern Mortuary.
