Kaliyah Dior Sapp

Kaliyah Dior Sapp was born on September 11, 1996 in Torrance, California, to Errol and Kim (Ramos) Sapp. She was raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, where she met and married her best friend, Rutger De La Torre. She went to be with The Lord on January 17, 2021. She was 24 years old.

Kaliyah was incredibly smart. She graduated from Coronado High School at 16 years old and pursued studies at University of Nevada, Las Vegas and College of Southern Nevada.

Kaliyah was extremely loving, funny and loyal. Her infectious smile, laugh and vibrant energy could light up a room and lift anyone’s spirit. Kaliyah enjoyed singing and making others feel special. Most of all, she adored her two beautiful children and loved spending good times with family and friends.

Kaliyah is survived by her husband, Rutger; children Rutger Jr. and Serenity; parents Errol and Kim; siblings Asia Dean and husband Chris, Errol Jr., Talia and Trajon; grandparents Allen and Carolyn Sapp and Lucrecia Ramos; loving uncles, aunts, in-laws, cousins, nieces and many relatives and friends.

Private funeral services will be held on February 17, 2021 at Palm Eastern Mortuary & Cemetery.
